2025

The ConferenceThe african continent is faced with unique challenges in higher education, including limited resources, brain drain, and inadequate infrastructure. The collaborative partnership on a pan-african it can play a crucial role in the mitigation of these challenges and to promote the sustainable development of higher education institutions on the african continent.

John Wesley, founder of Methodism, was a strong advocate for the education of the christian and the secular, that is holistic, as a means of developing both individuals and societies, to the functional, and the fear of God. Consequently, the United Methodist Church (UMC), and other names wesleyanas have invested heavily in the education of children in africa since the century, XIX. So, today, Africa is home to many of the institutions of the methodist higher education and tertiary education, as well as many schools in the primary, secondary, and vocational education.

The conference is aimed at improving the quality of education, increase access to resources, to expand educational opportunities for all students, and international research, teaching, and learning, as well as to strengthen cooperation in the region.
